Love this car rental company❤️ Second time we have rented from them. Both experiences were great. Wonderful car and reasonably priced! This will always be our choice when available.

The approach was with beautiful smile. 2 different rep offer us a fresh water. Car was very clean and return was very quick and satisfying. I rented so many cars before but you guys take it to totally different level. Keep up the good work .

Our experience with Sixt started off great. We were upgraded to a nicer car and the check-in process was seamless. The issue began when we asked if we could change our drop-off time to a later time. We were told not to worry, we'd already paid for the full day so as long as we dropped it off before opening the next day we would have no issues. That was great news because the day we were dropping off we were running behind, hit rush hour traffic, and had to drop someone at the airport. When we arrived to the drop-off location in Miami Beach (which I chose because it was two blocks to the hotel we were staying at for the second leg of our trip), the store was closed. No problem, I thought, we were told it wouldn't be an issue so there must be a key-drop box. We pulled into the parking garage to quickly realize that there were no available Sixt spots in the garage to leave it. They were all full. Sixt shared the garage with other companies and all other spots said that the car would be towed without the proper tag. So we called customer service... After about an hour of being put on hold and going back and forth on what to do, we were ultimately told that there wasn't much we could do. Our only options were drive it to the closest 24 hour location (which was half an hour away, and it was already after 10pm at this point), leave it there and risk it getting towed but we would have to cover it if it was, or take it to our hotel and bring it back in the morning (and pay the $45 parking fee at the hotel). All horrible options and not a great way to start our vacation. We ended up having to drive back to the Miami airport, paying for the parking garage we'd just been in. They said to talk to the management at Miami, which we did (right after being told by a rep that they didn't believe the original rep said we could turn it in late). She then submitted a ticket to customer service because there was nothing she could do. And then had to pay for a Lyft back to the hotel. This all took 3+ hours of our vacation time and didn't arrive to the hotel until after midnight. Plus an extra $60 out of our pockets for their mistake. Since then I've had to re-call customer service twice and have been continually told I'd need to talk to the Ft. Lauderdale office. They did end up reaching out to me with a voucher, which I declined because after this customer experience, there is no way I'm using this company again. I've yet to hear back, even though I've replied twice to the email and attempted to call (which it just rings and rings, no one picks up). So all in all, I guess if your car renting experience is straight forward and you can guarantee to drop your car off in time it would be a fine company to work with - but if you need customer service for any reason. good luck.
