Overall, a real disappointing experience to start out my vacation. I got to my Cancun airport destination to get the shuttle to the “Sixt” México rental car which was quite challenging. I was in a foreign country and My Phone wasn’t working. I had to get someone local to call the car rental company, since it wasn’t clear where to pick up the shuttle. When I got to the car rental office, they had a hard time finding my reservation even with a confirmation number. Plus, it didn’t show that I purchased the online insurance and they wanted to charge me $35 a day there versus the nine dollars a day online. So, I had to book another reservation with the insurance and got an immediate confirmation number. It took another half an hour for them to confirm that they got the second confirmation number. The car was all beat up with scratches and dance. It basically took an hour and a half to pick up the car at the office plus another hour to get a shuttle totaling 2 1/2 hours wasted out of my vacation.
