I had a paid reservation for a car for 5 days, we were driving a motorhome from 2400km away, i had made the car available for 10h00 not knowing exactly when i would get there du to traffic and road etc, got to Hertz at 16h00 to have the clerk (Brian who had no interest in customer service) tell me that since i was more then 2 hours late for pick up the rented the car....... THIS IS A PAID RESERVATION, if i pick it up a day late who care i paid for it ! I called the Hertz head office who was helpful (not like Brain...) and they founded me another car, i had to take a uber to get to it because the motorhome needed to be park for a certain hour and could not be move after.

I arrived at 10:20 am for pickup and had a 20+ min wait for pickup. The lone employee was very fast, efficient and polite but grossly over worked. He needed some help. The car was not freshly washed but very clean with just a tiny but of road dirt on the outside but cleaner than I run my car. The interior was very clean with only a few faint spots on a car with 34K miles. The drop off went very quick and I see no need for improvement there.
