Our shuttle driver was pleasant, friendly, informative and helpful. The rental agent was welcoming and efficient. The car was just what we ordered, and the eReturn process was simple and stress-freee!

I declined the extra insurance which cost more than the car itself but when I returned the vehicle they refused to give refund. After an upsetting experience the returned half to me.

When reserving my car I took the insurance proposed by carrental and thought that I was covered for everything... When I picked the car up at Hertz I was asked if I wanted to add their insurance... I said I had one with carrental but the person at the counter told me they do not know what the insurance I had covered and that I should take their insurance (400$ for only 5 days rental!!!!!) because it covers everything. I finally only took the liability (expansive too) but was not having peace of mind during my vacation... I am so tired to rent cars in the US and have such bad surprises when I pick it up. This is the last time! In other countries I never had such problems and I paid half the price of those rentals with everything included and covered. Bad evaluation for Hertz for poor information and bad evaluation for Carrental for not informing clearly of we can expect at pick up...
