The car was fine, and the customer service agent at the desk was also polite, friendly, and timely. However, after returning the car, days later I see my credit card was charged double what it should have been. It turns out that I was charged for the 'fuel purchase option' even though I returned the car with the tank full (and declined the option at the desk upon pick up). I was also incorrectly charged for a vehicle upgrade due to an automatic economy car being unavailable. They put in an automatic 4-door car, which was fine, and said I would not be charged for the upgrade. But there it was, a charge for the upgrade. I have a case open with Hertz Ireland to correct these charges, and as of now there are moving very SLOWLY on it.

Vehicle outclassed compared to what had been retained from where extra cost of € 216 .Vehicle in poor condition (rear wiper missing, shock absorbers tired, signal indicating a tire pressure problem, but not validated by the 2 garage owners to whom we asked for advice, but uncertainty about reliability throughout the trip in a country where driving on the left is already naturally stressful ...)

The reservation, the modification of it following a change of flight, the handling and the rendering of the vehicle, everything was simple and effective.
