Overall experience fine, but shuttle service was too slow. Long wait times

We arrived to the rental car place and waited in a bit of a line, then got set up with our car and checked out. The cars have a very strong scent in them (likely what they use to detail/freshen the car when returned)-- I'm not sensitive to scents, but this gave me a headache. We turned on the car and it showed a Maintenance Required light. The nice gentleman at the gate said we could head back inside to change cars and since we had a long drive ahead and didn't want issues, we went back inside. Coincidentally, a load of people were dropped off from the airport so we had to wait in another line. We finally got our replacement car and it had the same horrible scent, the right side rear-view mirror was banged up and inoperable, and there was a huge chip in the windshield, and once again when we started the car it showed a Maintenance Required light. We didn't feel like standing in line again so we went on our way. The car was fine during the trip which was positive, but returning the car was tricky to find and when I checked my emailed receipt the car cost about $80 more than what was quoted :( Not a great experience and we won't rent from Fox in the future-- Enterprise or other is a safer bet.

First and last time I will rent from Fox. Associate conned me into upgrade. She told me the vehicle I reserved could not be taken to Breckinridge because of snow. There was no snow.
