I went to pick up my pick up truck rental car and they told us they didn't know if any were left. There was one on the lot and we pointed it out to the employee and he said we couldn't have it because it was broken. The only truck they had on the lot was a Jeep Gladiator which was too small for what we needed, but since it we were told it was the only truck, we took it. As we were driving off the lot another family (that was behind us in line) was loading into the pick up truck we were told was broken. My husband rolled down his window and said something about how that should have been ours and the employee just said sorry and ignored my husband. The next morning we were leaving for our trip and our stuff did not fit in the car so we called Enterprise to see if we can get a pick up truck the size we had originally reserved. They could not tell us if they had one. So in blind faith we went back to Enterprise and they did have a pick up truck for us to trade out but it smelled so bad. It smelled like someone had been smoking with the windows rolled up for months in it. We had no other option but to take it or not be able to go on our trip. Overall I am very disappointed in the quality of service and the respect we were given as costumers.

They wanted to give me a pickup but I convinced them I couldn’t drive one. Besides for this everything else was ok. Suggestion to enterprise just let me know which ones are available and I’ll choose not you guys.

This was the fastest pick up I’ve ever had when renting a car. The staff were very professional and friendly. Everyone works together to make your experience great from start to finish.

Enterprise rent a car at Los Angeles Airport (LAX): All you need to know

Once you've left the baggage claim area and headed for the airport's exit, start your Los Angeles vacation the right way and bag your own Enterprise car rental . No waiting in line for taxis, shuttles, or public transportation to take you from LAX to your hotel, just comfort, style, and a top rental experience. Read on to find out more about Enterprise Rent-a-car.

How old do I have to be to rent a car in Los Angeles?

To rent a car with Enterprise, you must be aged 21 or over. If you're under 25, though, you may be asked to pay a surcharge.

Where is Enterprise situated at the airport?

When you exit the baggage claim area, head outside to the central island and look out for a purple sign that says Rental Car Shuttles. Wait here for a few minutes, and the Enterprise shuttle will transport you to the counters. You can use the self-service kiosks at this location for a quick and easy transaction or go to the Enterprise counter to pick up your rental agreement and keys.

Do I need an insurance for a rental car in Los Angeles?

Yes, you do. Your current car or credit card insurance may cover you for car rental, so have a read of your policy. If you're not covered to drive your rental car in Los Angeles and you're a US citizen, you can buy insurance through CarRentals.com at the checkout, or from Enterprise directly when you choose to rent from them.

What do I need to bring when picking up a rental at Los Angeles airport?

When it comes to picking up your rental from the airport terminal, bring your driver’s license and your proof of insurance cover to present to the rental car company. You'll also need the credit card that you used when book the car rental.

What fuel policy is available at LAX and which one should I get?

The full to full fuel policy is popular among vacationers renting a car from Enterprise, since you pick up your car with a full tank and just need to fill it back up when you return the rental car to the airport's drop-off point.

Is it advisable to get a car with unlimited miles in Los Angeles?

Unlimited mileage is a great way of ensuring that you make the most of your rental car and see as much as you can of Los Angeles, from the moment you land at the airport. If you opt for unlimited mileage with your Enterprise Rent-a-car, you'll never need to worry about clocking up the miles and paying extra for them, so feel free to take those last-minute road trips.

Is it possible to hire an Enterprise car one-way in Los Angeles?

If you're flying into LAX but won't be heading back there at the end of your rental period, you can opt for a one-way car rental and choose an off-airport drop-off location. Enterprise has rental locations all over the state, so take your pick of the bunch. One-way rentals might be charged at an extra fee, so check in advance with the company when you book.

What kind of car should I rent at Los Angeles International Airport?

Enterprise has a huge range of vehicles available, from full-size SUVs to compact and economy vehicles. Whether you need a small and simple car to shuttle the family from LAX to the hotel and back again, or you want to leave the airport in a luxury or premium vehicle and see the sights of Los Angeles in style, Enterprise Rent-a-car has what you're looking for.
