When you had a long day and cramped flight, the last thing you need is a car rental company with 2 employees. One outside and one inside and a long line.

On arrival I was told that I couldn’t get a free second driver even though I am an express member, simply because I booked through a third party (so I’m a second class citizen just because I came through a certain advertising channel.) I was thankful I had registered though because at least I skipped in front of the huge line there. On the return there was no shuttle there and after 15 minutes I had to book a Lyft to catch my flight on time. Also I waited 10 minutes for someone to show up to receive the returned vehicle. Dollar was a terrible experience and absolutely not worth the $30 savings I got over Alamo.

When I went to pick up the car first of all I chose pre-pay on purpose and then I still had to pay $92 at the car rental place at pick up, which was fine but they wouldn’t let me use the same credit card, which was my husband’s, they needed a card that was under my name and I was not prepared for that traveling. The second issue was the company requires a $200 security deposit to hold while you have the car and that was never stated or explain to me in any manner when I booked the rental. It added an extra hour and a half to my travel time late at night and was very upsetting and frustrating.
