The counter agent tried to charge me for $200.00 extra stuff & insurance I declined at the time of booking. When I disputed it, he removed the charges and said he got me a discount like he was doing me a favor. Pay attention to your booking charges and make them stick to the amount to pay when you get to the counter unless you add on additional items at that time like fuel, insurance and tolls. Also as I drove miles from the airport I realized the windshield wiper fluid was empty and had to stop and pay $5.00 for a gallon of windshield wiper fluid. Sounds cheap but it should be ready to go especially since it is winter in Colorado. To make matters worse, the wind shield wiper fluid mechanism was broken so I had to waste 90 minutes exchanging the car for a different one!

All went as planned. I didn’t even have to wait at the counter when I arrived to pick up the rental.

Windows and mirrors were filthy.....as soon as I turned out of the lot and into the sun I could barely see. Made it to my destination and borrowed a roll of paper towels and bottle of Windex in order to be able to see. It actually looked like someone sprayed cola on the rear view mirror. My mistake for not checking the interior before driving off....Dollars mistake for not having adequate Quality control measures in place. Otherwise the rental car was fine and worked well for our travel needs.
