Pick up was a breeze. But when it came time to drop off not so good. Called to find an alternate drop off location and on hold for 45 minutes and then was disconnected. The second time I spoke to someone after 10 minutes who transferred me to another line and on hold for 1 hour. Told that I could not return the car and would be charged an additional day. With further discussion we found that SFO was open and we dropped the car off.

Car was ready, the whole process took no more than 10 minutes

I was happy with the car which was a good drive. (Ford Fiesta). I was less happy with the service which was unfriendly and bland. No information about the car was given and no interest was paid to the fact that I was a foreign driver and might need some advice. I was also very surprised to be told that I would have to pay a holding deposit of $250 which was not told to me while I booked the car rental online nor was it contained in the email confirmation. once I returned the car I was then told it would take 48 hours to return the deposit to me which is unacceptable in this day and age, and in fact it took 5 days for the money to be returned to my account which is a complete disgrace. Considering I was on holiday for a week I could have done without that money being taken from me for so long. For this reason I wouldn’t use this company again as other car rentals have not held onto money like this in my experience. Poor.
