I was told by Budget when I called on Monday,10/14, that the rental would be held until midnight when the airport closed. I asked because the couple we were traveling with flight was changed and they would not be getting to El Paso until 3:30. We luckily went to the window and were told their were a separate franchise and they set their own rules and the car would be cancelled if not picked up in a 2 hour time frame. We had to take the car and had only 20 minutes for it to be removed from their lot. Needless to say we had to take the car and park it in a short term lot to wait for our friends. This is not the Budget I have dealt with before and did not receive the correct information from the national people. I never would have called the El Paso office.

The car I reserved was not available, so I had to pay more for another rental. What is the point of making a reservation?

Great Car, Price, and great staff, but just two people in front of me and it took over a half an hour or so to get them a car. I don't know why it took so long, but having another person at the counter or finding a more efficient way to expedite the process would be helpful. I can't image if there was 6 people in front of me how long it would take.
