I was charged more than the amount quoted to me at the Budget counter when I picked up my car. I am not happy about that.

The car we got was an automatic upgrade and it was great. The check-out process was smooth and the car was really comfy to ride through the traffic in southern California. I will look at Budget when renting a car in the future.

#1 The car had an air leak in the front passenger tire, so significant that I had to refill every 24 hours. I discovered this within 12 hours of my rental. Hard to believe that the previous driver did not experience and report the same issue. #2 When the initial receipt was printed when the car was turned in it was NOT for the correct contracted price. When I pointed this out, suddenly and effortlessly a corrected receipt for the precise correct amount was offered. When questioned, the check in person said this was a common occurrence !! I am hoping that I was not billed TWICE (once correctly and once incorrectly) and will be reviewing my credit card statement carefully.
