You people book a car for us and then cancelled it the day before we left due to the pick up place was no longer there.... they closed that pick up place 3 months ago.... you had no business booking cars through there. No one would honor your price at the airport. It costs us DOUBLE to rental a car

I picked up the car in freezing Albany, NY at 1:00am exhausted with my family. The next morning when I got into the car, I realized that it reeked of cigarette smoke. I called Budget and was told that I could go back to the airport and exchange it or get 10% discount for keeping it. I asked to speak to the manager to discuss the offer, as I thought it was unreasonable, but he would not take my call. Eventually I changed my plans and took the stinky car back to the airport and did not take an exchange. I ended up wasting more time getting another car, but didn't want to do business with Budget. More than anything, i resent the fact that the manager made a decision, but would not talk to me directly to hear my concerns.
