Great overall. My only gripe was with the car, I wished there would have been a non-american option for the sport SUV subcompact category, or at least a Ford. The Jeep compass was disappointing on pretty much every front, does Jeep have a human factors engineering team? If so they should fire everyone and start over. The ceiling is too low oh, I hit my head on the way in from getting gas and almost got a concussion. The touch screen panel is poorly designed, an ergonomically, the controls for adjusting in cabin temperature etc, are not ergonomically placed. The car is generally underpowered, sluggish, and doesn't handle turns particularly well, albeit slightly better when enabling the four-wheel drive mode which is not really very intuitive to enable in the first place. There is no eco mode, and there is no way to turn off basic settings like an annoying quote-unquote high speed alert setting, which goes off every time you exceed 80 miles per hour, sounding as if you ran out of gas.

Picking up car was a little cumbersome. Lot of paperwork. Seem to try to sell you stuff you really don’t need. Dropping off was quick and easy.

First car I was given, the AC didn’t work. Second vehicle had been smoked in. Why would you even consider renting anything that smells that bad!? I was heading to a funeral and all of my clothes had that awful smell. I tried to switch out the car at another Avis and they wouldn’t take it.
