After a flight cancellation and a flight delay, we were about 9 hours late in picking up our car from Avis. While they only had two customer service attendants at their counter, they did a good job of keeping the lines moving and providing service in a professional manner for customers who were stressed like we were.

The car I reserved was a mid size. When I got to the counter, they upgraded me to an SUV - no extra charge.
