My rental went off without any issues and I felt I was not pressured into buying more insurance than I needed!

The agent was very helpful and didn't push selling over-priced insurance.

Picking up the car at LGA was not great. I was assured over the phone prior to booking that if I paid ahead, I would be able to get the keys outdoors and complete registration without having to enter a building during the Coronavirus pandemic. However, when I arrived to pick up the car, all the staff told me I had to go inside, and were not willing to bring me the keys outdoors. What's more, the computers were down, prolonging the wait time of everyone on line. I felt deceived and disregarded. Curbside pickup for rental cars seems like a simple and crucial pivot for companies like Avis to make in this time. It seems irresponsible of them to continue business as usual, though I appreciate the mandatory mask wearing. I felt bad for the counter staff, put in what felt like an uncomfortable and difficult position. The Avis higher ups owe their employees and customers a better service and more attention. Otherwise, the car was fine and dropoff in Washington was easy and straightforward. I did not have to enter a building there thanks to a flexible staff and dropoff system.
