Car had bugs in it. Every time we parked the car and came back there were little insects bugs swarming the dash and console.

I left an item in the car, reported it, but when I tried calling to f/u, was told to call the location where the vehicle was dropped off directly (I did several time, and then found out there is no one there to answer that phone). Called lost and found. They weren't able to help me. We dropped the car off in Jacksonville N.C and the email I received said my report was being sent to Charlotte (I was told that's where the car would be returned to). So I asked about the item being potentially found in Jacksonville, and if the car was in Charlotte, how would I find the item. I was told to call customer service. I called customer service several times, and always told to call a different number. When I did get someone to actually help me, they tried to fill out a new report for a Florida location. I have yet to locate my item.
Also while using the vehicle, the keys were locked in the car. We call Avis about unlocking the remotely. Again they were unable to help us, and we had to wait over an hour to have a lock smith come out.
