Before you flight we were looking into rents vehicles and we found some for a very great price so we didn’t feel worried about it. When we got to our final destination, we went to the counter to get a vehicle. We checked with three different rental companies and they were all offering at prices 6-7 times wha we found online. They even told us they were sold out and didn’t even have any cars, they saw the high demand and raised their prices. I didn't want to spend $200 a day for a car, so I jumped on carrentals.com and found a pickup for half the cost of they were quoting me at the table. After getting a confirmation number for my reservation, I went back to the counter. At first they tried to say they couldn’t find it, and once they found it, they tried to double the price without me noticing. After a few minutes of back and forth we were able to get our selected pickup at our reserved price and were told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Due to how busy they were that day we still had to wait almost 2 hours. Once it arrived we were very pleased.

We landed on Christmas Day so we were in a hurry to get to Grandmas - gave Credit card and rep stated there would be a deposit, which is standard as we have rented many many times from various companies. Gave me a total of $411 , which I stated, including deposit , rep said 'yes .... beacause my email from Carrentals comfirmation listed our rental at $342 , I thought nothing of it. At drop off , the attendant printed out my receipt and my charge was totaled at $411 ….. I had to go to the counter and find my confirmation email on my phone and show to a different employee so they could credit me back - we will see on my credit statement the next billing cycle if that was done correctly. Also I paid for a full size F150 pickup - all they could give me was a Nissan Frontier , which is not a full size pickup - felt I got less than what I paid for.

Reese was fantastic. My flights hadn’t gone well, and Reese was just so personable. I told him he was the highlight of my trip. And he was.
