Advantage changed how they handle pick up and CarRentals did not have that information in the confirmation email. When I called the local Advantage they were not clear on how the pick up worked. Wasted so much time! You have to take an LAX shuttle to another parking lot then get on an Advantage shuttle.

I waited for over an hour at the pick up location I was provided on the confirmation email, and after waiting on hold for over half an hour, I was told the pick up location had changed. When I finally got to the rental car shuttle, I was told they had received many complaints, almost in a light-hearted, joking manner. Once I arrived at the agency, I was told I was lucky to arrive when I did because they were almost out of cars ... even though I made a reservation weeks earlier. Never rent from Advantage; this was my first and LAST time!

The RAV4 equivalent was not available but after discovering that the Mitsubishi replacement had too small a luggage space I was given a Hyundai Santa Fe that was excellent
